With the imminent arrival of the London Olympics putting a blazing spotlight on Britain, how we portray ourselves to the rest of the world is more important than ever.
The trend-sters at Stylus.com have identified, ‘Sun, sea and safari’ as a key trend this season for both high fashion and high street designers. Shoppers are being transported to the jungle, with Mulberry and Banana Republic embracing the animalistic theme, adorning their window displays with Zebra’s and monkeys.
Imagine the luck of the Argentines. Bjork’s in residence at the Buenos Aires Centro de Exposiciones in Argentina since April 6 but has been forced to cancel her shows thanks to throat nodules, a growth caused by ‘trauma’ to the vocal chords.
I’ve always thought that it was pretty exciting to see your clients’ brands on shelf. But I never thought that I’d see the Creative Director of Chanel practically endorsing their laundry products!

I took three marvelous holidays in China in the last year. The first was exploring the idyllic countryside village of Xizhou, near Dali in Yunnan province. It was harvest time so the fields were golden and the villagers were abuzz with activity.
This morning’s news reports claimed that Justin Bieber’s YouTube channel has more total views than any other person – over 2 billion to be exact – according to famecount.com.
